2023 Presentation Guidelines

For Oral Presentations

  1. Authors making oral presentations must submit a full paper (deadline submission) to the Sinacon organizers by April 15, 2023. We will begin accepting abstract on March 30, 2023. 
  2. Oral presentations will be in English and should cover the same material as your abstract. Full papers will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and used to inform the presentation order.
  3. Papers cannot be longer than 10 pages including figures, tables, and bibliographies.
  4. The top of the page should include the paper title, a list of all the authors and their affiliations, and full contact details for the corresponding author (email).
  5. Text should be in 11 points Times New Roman font and single-spaced.
  6. Citations should follow the American Psychological Association 6th edition (APA 6th) and use footnotes.
  7. A template of a full paper format is available to download
  8. Presentation is recorded in video format. Time allocation for the presentation is 10 minutes. The video presentation that has been sent to the committee will be shown in the oral presentation session of the work.
  9. Presentations will be done on Zoom Webinar. Presenters will be able to share their screens for a video presentation. More guidance on how presenters will connect through Zoom will be provided in April, 2023. The full program will be announced by mid-March, and we will do our utmost to accommodate presenter’s time zones.
  10. Each presenter will get an additional 5 minutes for Q&A after presenting their video presentation.

For Poster Presentations

  1. Authors making poster presentations must submit their posters to the Sinacon organizers by April 15, 2023, or risk losing their presentation slot. We will begin accepting abstravt on March 30, 2023.
  2. Posters will be displayed in our online virtual event poster gallery. Once the event is live, all posters will be available to view. Participants will have a chance to provide comments and questions for the author, via the link https://bit.ly/ResponsePosterSinacon. The full technical details will be announced in mid-March and we will share more details on how participants can interact with the poster presenters at that time.
  3. To submit your poster, please log in to your Sinacon account. Please upload your poster according to the guidelines. 
  4. All posters must be uploaded as a one page PDF.
  5. There are no required dimensions for the posters, just the 5MB file size restriction..
  6. While participants will be able to zoom in or out on your poster, we suggest using at minimum Arial 17 point font for readability.
  7. Content of poster: 
  • Title 
  • Full name and affiliation of all authors (underline the poster presenter, include email address of the corresponding author) 
  • Introduction.
  • Methods.
  • Result and Discussion.
  • Conclusion or Summary.
  • References.
  • Acknowledgement.
