Dear Esteemed Presenters,
We would like to remind you that the Stifar International Conference 2026 (2nd SINACON) will
be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 and can download the virtual background zoom via https://bit.ly/VB_Zoom_Sinacon. We would like to reiterate to all oral presenters to prepare
video presentations and for poster presenters to prepare poster materials with the following
provisions:
A. Oral Presentation Guidelines
1. The oral presentation must be delivered as a video and conducted entirely in English
2. The video presentation will be 10 minutes long and will contain participant information
and research findings.
3. The presentation must include:
▪ Title (contains at least Presentation Title, Presenter Name, Corresponding Author,
Affiliations, and SINACON 2026 logo) The SINACON 2026 logo can be downloaded via the following link: https://bit.ly/LogoSinacon .
▪ Introduction
▪ Methods
▪ Results and Discussion, which can be supported by images or tables
▪ Conclusions
▪ Acknowledgements (if necessary)
4. Videos can be made using Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, etc.
5. Ensure the video has clear sound and picture, and the presenter's voice is recorded clearly.
B. Poster Presentation Guidelines
1. Poster boards should accommodate A0 size portrait posters: height 1189 mm (46.8 inches),
width 841 mm (33.1 inches). Please ensure your display fits within these parameters.
2. Poster layout: portrait
3. The title should be in bold. Author affiliations and e-mail addresses should be included.
4. Text: Posters must be easily readable during the Zoom session, with 1.5 or 2 line spacing,
and a poster ratio of 16:9 (1920x1080 pixels). Authors must also adhere to the following
requirements (points 6-8).
5. Headings should be 25% larger than normal text. Bold or other colors may be used.
6. Suggested font sizes are (for the A0 format):
▪ Main title: 78 pt (bold, upper case)
▪ Author: 72 pt (bold, title case)
▪ Affiliation(s): 48 pt (normal, title case)
▪ Email address: 36 pt (bold)
▪ Subheading: 36 pt (bold upper case)
▪ Body of text: 24 pt (normal)
▪ Smaller fonts may be used in citations and acknowledgement.
7. The poster should include:▪ Title: project title
▪ Authors: your name, faculty advisor’s name, names of collaborators, and department
▪ Purpose (or Objectives or Introduction)
▪ Methods
▪ Results or Findings
▪ Discussion
▪ Conclusions
▪ Acknowledgements (if necessary)
8. Suggestions for selecting colors and fonts
❖ Use only 2 or 3 colors in the poster, as too many colors can be distracting.
❖ Select font colors and background colors to maximize contrast: a dark font on a light
background is more easily read than vice versa
❖ The amount of text should be kept to a minimum, and each block of text should
include no more than a few sentences; to maximize your space efficiency, remove
information that is not relevant to the topic.
❖ To emphasize a point, use bold or italics rather than underlining, as underlined words
can be more difficult to read.
C. General Information
1. The deadline for media submission (video presentation or poster) is Saturday, May 2,
2026, sent via sinacon2026@gmail.com
2. Oral and poster presenters are expected to join the Zoom room at least 30 minutes before
the session begins.
3. Poster session and room assignments for oral presenters will be announced at the opening
of SINACON 2026.
